Wafra started in 1999 . We acquired 80 acres of sand and started planting vegetables and fruits. Over the next decade we became specialized  in growing table grapes for the export market mainly UK and Europe. The plot of land grew to 200 acres near Cairo and 60 acres in upper Egypt.

In 2014 we started our export company which not only exports our produce but we also buys fresh products which meet our standards from local farmers . All the packaging and refrigeration is done in our packing house located in our farm  .

We have expanded over the last 5 years into exporting fresh and frozen strawberries in addition to table grapes.

We are certified in Halal and Kosher products which is renewed yearly. Of course all our products meet EU requirements for Pesticides and MRL limits are strictly adhered to.

We are also the one of the first companies in Egypt to obtain FSA certificate.

Our growth has all been internally financed from own resources.
